The Peninsula Workforce Development Center and TNCC’s main campus, both located in nearby Hampton, act as a “one stop” for individuals and companies in this area who are seeking workforce-related services where workers can obtain skills testing, career counseling, adult education, and job search assistance.
The Peninsula Workforce Development Center offers
- skills testing, career counseling, training, job search assistance for workers,
- customized training for existing employees,
- help with recruiting, screening, hiring, and training new employees
- state-of-the-art training facilities,
- on-site instruction at the company’s location,
- both credit and non-credit courses to upgrade skills,
- evening and weekend classes on campus and at area high schools.
The Historic Triangle Campus is located near James City County’s newest high schools and the TNCC Workforce Development Center located in the New Town area of the County.
