The James City County Office of Economic Development (OED) hosted a Business Leaders’ Breakfast Meeting Thursday, October 28, at the Radisson Fort Magruder Hotel and Conference Center. More than 60 business leaders and County officials heard OED Director Keith Taylor describe the successful redeployment of more than one-half million square feet of light industrial space at one of the County’s primary business parks.  The breakfast also featured a panel presentation by representatives of the Virginia Department of Business Assistance (VDBA).  Focusing on programs and features available to James City County businesses were Michael Eisenman, VDBA Director, Catherine Hart, Senior Workforce Services Senior Project Manager, Jim McKean, Assistance and Retention Manager, and Julie Tidovsky-James, Project Finance Manager for the Virginia Small Business Finance Authority.
