Economic Development Authority Receives Technology Policy Consultant Study

In December 2002, the Economic Development Authority of James City County retained the services of Moran, Stahl and Boyer, an Atlanta-based economic development consulting firm, to perform a Technology Policy Consultant Study. The goal of the study was to determine what James City County's niche may be as an attractor of technology-based companies. If such a niche exists, the study was to consider whether pro-active recruitment of such companies would benefit the County, and, if so, what public and private initiatives would best support such an effort.
