The Board of Supervisors, Economic Development Authority, and Staff of James City County agree to consider incentives for qualified new or expansion economic development projects, on a case-specific basis, reacting to Staff proposals with a committment to quick decisions. The form and nature of these incentives will vary, each case being unique. Specific attention will be given to projects most compatible with the County's character and targeted industry groups, to capital intensive projects, and to projects offering enhanced job opportunities for which County residents may compete.
