Conference & Meeting Facilities

James City County has earned an international reputation for the quality of its accommodations and conference centers. Presidents, premiers and prime ministers have met in Williamsburg. The Business Council, comprised of corporate leaders of America's top 100 companies, meets in Williamsburg twice a year to discuss public policy.

 

James City County is supported by four conference centers and 81 hotels providing a variety of accommodations for the thousands of business travelers, convention participants and vacationers who arrive here daily.

Golf

James City County's 11 golf courses, including the Michelob Ultra Open LPGA Tour stop at Kingsmill, are gaining even more National recognition. Courses include the Tradition Golf Club at Stonehouse, which was awarded 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest Magazine and Williamsburg National, voted one of the "top 10 places to play in Virginia" by Golf Digest.
