The Economic Development Authority (EDA) of the County of James City, Virginia is a seven member voluntary Board whose members are appointed by the County Board of Supervisors and serve staggered four-year terms.
The Authority's purpose is to assist the County and its Office of Economic Development in expanding James City County's business tax base.
The EDA also acts as a conduit for issuing Industrial Revenue Bonds for manufacturing projects and also qualifying medical, assisted living, non-profit, or public facilities.
